Man, nothing like a night on the town, seeing all the gorgeous women you're not dating to slap your ego down a few pegs. Not that I had a chance anyway. It was an open mic night at a local bar, and women just don't go to those things single. Unless they're going to perform. Plus, there's always someone performing, which makes it hard to approach someone and start a conversation. Not really the environment for meeting people...
